hey, lady! Is it open the last weekend in July? I have a friend coming to town- this would be perfect!
I would love to rent my beloved house to you guys! Let me know if you’re serious and I’ll send you the contract and deets! -ko
How old is your octagon house? Is it a reproduction? I own one in Minnesota, built in 1884, turning it into a bed and breakfast, see my website.
Hi Mary,
We built the octagon house in 2005 with mostly vintage, reclaimed house parts from all over the East Coast. It is a reproduction, so to speak, although certainly unique in its own right because we designed it from scratch and then used bits and pieces from houses as far as Maine to as close as Atlanta. I’ll go check out your website. Thanks for writing! -kara
We love the house and saw on vrbo that you can also rent a boat? How much to rent the boat too or is it included? We are looking at the week of July 18-22.
Thanks
Hi Rachel, I’m so sorry that I never responded. It seems that my blog doesn’t forward my emails. If it’s not too late (by your dates, it certainly is), we do rent the boat for $100 per day. Thanks for writing.
